Decrypting Apps

This guide shows to decrypt applications with existing tools.

Decrypting apps require TrollStore (or any sideloader that bypasses coretrust) or in a jailbroken state. If you do not have either of these, you cannot decrypt applications.
Decrypting paid apps & distributing them is considered piracy & is illegal.

TrollDecrypt

    TrollDecrypt allows you to decrypt existing applications using TrollStore. Not all applications are supported.

  1. Download the latest version of TrollDecrypt. Ensure you have TrollStore installed.
  2. Install the .tipa file via TrollStore.
  3. Once installed, open the TrollDecrypt application.
  4. With TrollDecrypt opened, select the application you would like to decrypt. Alternatively, you can type in the PID (process id) of the app you want to decrypt at the bottom.
  5. Once selected, tap "Yes", then wait. Time will vary on the app size.
  6. Once finished decryption, the app may freeze. If it does, close the app from the app switcher and re-open.
  7. At the top left of your screen, tap the folder icon. Your decrypted .ipa should be their.

AppIndex

    AppIndex allows you to decrypt existing applications.

    You MUST jailbreak in order to use this tool. This tool only officialy supports iOS 13 - 16.3, but could support higher/lower versions.
  1. Ensure you have the

    repo added in your package manager (Sileo, Zebra, Cydia, etc)
  2. Once added, search up
    AppIndex
    in your package manager.
  3. Once the package has been found, tap on it and click
    Install
    .
  4. Once installed, find the
    AppIndex
    application on your home screen and open it.
  5. Find the application you want to decrypt.
  6. Once you have selected the application, tap the 3 dots surrounded by a circle.
  7. Tap
    Export .ipa

    8. • Depending on the app size, it may take a while. Once its finished, you will now have options to do whatever you want with the .ipa file.
